1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how KOSOKU Interactive (“KOSOKU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit our website and use our publicly available browser-based projects. It applies to the website, not to services operated independently by third parties.
2. Information handled by the site
KOSOKU does not currently provide website accounts, user registration, or on-site payment processing. The site provides an email link; choosing it opens your email application, and information you send is information you choose to provide.
Like most websites, our hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical request data to deliver pages, maintain security, and troubleshoot errors. Depending on the infrastructure and configuration, this can include IP address, requested URL, timestamps, browser or device details, and diagnostic information. Project Trap’s age check runs in your browser: the date of birth you enter is not sent to us or saved, and only a pass flag is kept in your browser’s local storage.
3. Traffic statistics
KOSOKU uses Cloudflare dashboard traffic statistics to understand visits and site performance. We do not intentionally use these dashboard statistics to identify individual visitors or build advertising profiles. The precise information available and retention are subject to the Cloudflare products and settings enabled for the site.
4. Advertising and third-party services
KOSOKU uses Google AdSense, or is preparing to use it, to display advertisements. When an ad is requested or displayed, Google and its advertising partners may receive information such as the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, and information associated with cookies or similar identifiers. These technologies may be used to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and, depending on settings and your choices, personalize advertising. Google explains its practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and its Advertising policy information. Google Ads Settings lets you manage Google ad personalization.
Third-party advertising companies, including Google, may place or read cookies in your browser, use web beacons or similar technologies, and process IP addresses or other identifiers as a result of ad serving on this website. The specific technologies and data depend on ad formats, Google settings, your browser, and your choices. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking them may affect some site or advertising functions.
Where required for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google requires publishers serving personalized ads to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. KOSOKU will configure consent messaging and ad serving for applicable regions before serving ads there. The presence of this policy alone is not a substitute for a functioning consent mechanism where one is required.
Our use of Cloudflare dashboard traffic statistics is separate from advertising. The site may also link to third-party platforms, including Instagram; when you follow an external link, that provider's privacy practices apply. We do not control third-party services.
5. How information is used
Information may be used to deliver the website, review aggregate traffic, maintain security, diagnose errors, respond to messages, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information as a standalone data-broker business.
6. Email
If you email [email protected], we will use the contents and contact details to read and respond to your message, maintain relevant correspondence, and address the matter raised. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary.
7. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, taking account of operational needs and legal requirements. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure; we take reasonable steps appropriate to the services we use.
8. Children and teens
The website is primarily intended for teenagers and adults and is not designed as a service for children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13 through website accounts or forms. A parent or guardian who believes a child has emailed us may contact us to discuss the message.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to use the site or send us an email. Browser settings may allow you to control cookies and similar technologies. Depending on where you live and whether applicable law covers KOSOKU, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information. Send requests to [email protected]; we may need to verify the request.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the website or its services change. Material updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Questions: [email protected].
